Annual Loveland Diversity Champion Award
Every year, Heart and Sol selects one business or organization to receive the Loveland Diversity Champion Award. We aim to highlight their support of our organization and thank them for being Diversity, Equity and Inclusion advocates.
2021: stories without borders
Stories Without Borders works independently and in strategic partnership with organizations to tell underreported stories and empower new storytellers. They were the group who we worked with most closely during the difficult year of 2020, when all events went virtual. In a time where it was easy to feel unheard, they helped elevate our voice and we thank them for their continued support and endless work.
2020: El Pueblito Mexican Restaurant
El Pueblito has been the host location to many of our in-person monthly meetings and one of our most consistent supporters. Their support has helped us successfully deliver Dia De Los Muertos events, with free food to feed hundreds of community members, for several years. Please show them your support and visit them soon!
2019: Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation
The Friends have been a consistent supporter of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts. Their support has helped us grow our annual "Dia De Los Muertos" celebration from a one-day, one-location event to a multi-event celebration. We couldn't have done it without them and really appreciate all they do for our community!
